Entry Level Software Developer

ClickTracks Analytics, the web analytics innovation leader, has an immediate opening for a full-time Software Developer. This is an entry level position with duties that include:

  • C++ coding of new features to our core Windows application
  • InstallShield installer scripting
  • Creating new builds and maintaining CVS tree
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor of science degree
  • Passion for code that is bug free
  • Strong understanding of good UI design
  • Ability to quickly grasp the problem and move forward with a solid implementation
  • Knowledge of Windows programming techniques, APIs etc.

Product Manager

ClickTracks Analytics, the web analytics innovation leader, has an immediate opening for a full-time product manager, reporting to the CEO.


The Product Manager will be responsible for the management of the product life cycle from Product Requirement Document (PRD) to development through release and post-release support of sales and marketing activities

Specific tasks include:

  • Drive the PRD process to define the products that meet customers' needs and company objectives
  • Survey prospective and existing customers
  • Translate marketing requirements into product requirements
  • Evaluate/invent new product ideas
  • Review competitive products
  • Work with Development to develop use cases and functional specifications that align with PRD
  • Create use cases that become the basis for product differentiation and target market definition
  • Work closely with Development on the product development and release process
  • Evaluate substantiate and prioritize (rank) requests for product changes and enhancements
  • Competitively differentiate the product/resolve issues/problems that will affect product's success (includes being involved in issues such as special pricing, special promotions, designing demos, developing training courses, etc.)
  • Direct the creation of product materials such as data sheets and white papers as required
  • Contribute to the development of strategic product plans that tie market research to company vision
  • Develop product pricing and packaging
  • Maintain close relationship to customer for awareness of customers' needs and perspectives
  • Manage Beta programs
  • Facilitate consensus on product plans
  • Contribute to user interface design
  • Plan and coordinate interdepartmental schedules

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of high tech product management experience, including writing specifications and use cases
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, scripting languages (e.g. ASP, PHP, etc.), dynamically generated websites, web servers (IIS, Apache)
  • Understanding of online marketing techniques, particularly Google and Overture pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization
  • Knowledge of OLAP products, data warehouse technology, large database engines
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
  • Outstanding oral and written communications
  • Entrepreneurial spirit...with a desire to do whatever it takes to get the job done!

Sales Super Star

ClickTracks, a recognized innovator and leader in the web analytics industry, is looking for a bright, energetic and dedicated Sales Manager to join our growing sales team.

As ClickTracks' Sales Manager, you'll be assigned a geographic territory, and will be responsible for achieving (but preferably exceeding!) aggressive revenue targets within that territory. You'll be responsible for following up on all leads generated within your territory, qualifying potential customers and closing the sale. You'll also create and maintain a sales pipeline, as well as providing accurate sales forecasts to senior team members and management.

The good thing is, we have a fantastic product that has a big 'wow' factor--making it a bit
easier to sell.

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years sales experience, preferably in a software environment
  • Strong understanding of online marketing, Google, Yahoo! and PPC advertising as well as e-commerce, content/media
  • A strong understanding of Internet terms, technologies and protocols
  • Good phone manners and a proven track record of making a high volume of calls every day
  • Good professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently and match customers needs with company products
  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Web Infrastructure Developer PHP MySQL

Join our growing team as a Web Infrastructure Developer.

As a ClickTracks Web Infrastructure Developer, you will play a key role in helping ClickTracks develop and maintain our industry-leading Web site and the infrastructure code for our product licensing, customer relationship and lead routing systems.

This position is for full-time employment with ClickTracks located near downtown in Santa Cruz, California.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Strong PHP and MySQL programming skills
  • HTML, JavaScript and page/form layout experience
  • Experience in configuring e-commerce (shopping cart) systems
  • Some Perl experience
