Navigation Report
Instantly see how visitors interact with your web site
ClickTracks' Navigation report gives you a bird's eye view of visitor activity by placing visitor metrics right on top of your web site. At a glance, you can see:
-
Where visitors clicked: Next to each link on your web site, ClickTracks displays
a small percentage bar showing what percent of all visitors clicked on a particular
link.
-
Where they
came from, and where they went next: The path view located at the bottom on the
Navigation report shows the referring pages, as well as the pages people visited
next—noting also if they exited from your site on that particular page.
-
How much
time they spent: On the right-hand side of the Navigation report, ClickTracks
shows information specific to the page you're currently viewing, including the average
amount of time a visitor spent on that page, as well as the average amount of time a
visitor spent getting to that page. It also notes the number of visitors who see the
page, as well as the number of visitors who entered your web site at that page.
The power of ClickTracks lies in its ability to separate groups of visitors and compare them. This process, 'visitor labeling' is unique to ClickTracks. By labeling groups of visitors who share a common criteria, the Navigation report lets you:
Compare traditional search vs. PPC:Understand the differences between visitors who found your site as the result of a free search listing, versus those who came through a paid listing. In the navigation report, labeling free vs. paid visitors allows you to compare their behavior, helping you make better keyword, site optimization and spending choices. |
Compare search engines:Visitors from different search engines can exhibit significantly different behavior patterns. By labeling visitors from different search engines, the navigation report shows you each group's preferences, navigation patterns, exit rates, time spent on a page, etc. |
Compare search referrals:How many visitors searched to find your web site, and how many were led there by non-search mechanisms (like a link on another web site?) Labeling search v. non-search referrals lets you gauge the value of search on your site by showing you how both groups navigate and interact with your site. |
Export to PDF or Excel:ClickTracks makes it easy to generate reports that you, the rest of your team, clients and bosses understand. Easily export any of ClickTracks' reports to an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel file. |
